11/10 do want
I really like the 'windowed' A-pillars. Too bad those probably won't see production.

Damn, that thing looks great. A Kia I'd actually want? What's happening to the world.

I might just have to make a terrible financial decision if and when this thing hits dealerships.

I like it...but I feel like there is something a bit off about the headlight placement. I know Kia's head of design came from Audi so I am seeing a bit of R8. It was almost as if they took R8 front end cues and flipped the headlamps vertical.

I'f I had the money to do that, I think I'd've done the same.. I think I want it in lime green or a rusty/orange candy though.

Will it be follow suit and be cheaper than its Hyundai counterpart? I sure as hell hope so!

It's the headlights that makes it for me, finally someone who does something other than "horizontal eyes" Reminds me of the MB W112 :)

If I can stuff a child seat in the back of it, this is a strong contender for when my Saab finally gives up the ghost.

I imagine it would. Unless Kia/Hyundai plays a trick, which I can see them doing. Make the new Genesis Coupe, same powertrain new body, cost more, like $26,000. Then the Kia could slot in at the $24,000 price that the Genesis was.

I need more space than it would offer, but I would probably try to get the local dealer to get me a two-fer with a small old truck.

I don't mind the vertical...just wished they were moved in a tad

I don't think the headlight placement is the problem, it's the slanty nose shape that everything is getting.
It makes the headlights appear to be too far back, if you understand what I mean. I suspect it looks better in person, and it would have to be really different for production I would think.
I'm also not sure this color is the best for showing off the car. I wonder what it looks like in black or white.

for some crazy reason, I get this vibe from it.

Volvo did the A-pillar back in 2001.
Volvo Safety Concept Car. (Not very imaginative with the name tho)
Launched in 2001 to preview the C30.

I feel like I'd like it best in black or white. Probably white, especially if the black A pillars stay and that black accent under the door.

I agree with you on that part. Or perhaps a horizontal slat from the bottom of them along the line towards the grill?
No.. no.. they need to be an inch wider, and an inch further in..

It would look great in black or white, perhaps even more so in a satin finish, it's just that I LOVE bright colours.

Uhh, you mean like Cadillac? They've been doing vertical for years.

I didn't know that, it looks cool!
But of course, it didn't make production either. It's probably too expensive to be worthwhile, especially on a cheap car.

I know that mate :) I should've been more specific, Finally a car maker I'd consider buying a car from does something other than the horizotal eyes (although I WOULD buy a CTS, so I guess I'm contradicting myself).

I think you may be on to something with the slanty nose thing. To be honest I wasn't super crazy about the V60 in pics, but it looks really nice in person. That being said, I think when Kia tones it down to production specs I'm sure the proportions will work themselves out.

A Korean supercar has been coming for sometime now. Think Lexus, with the LFA. Plus, Kia has been releasing really good cars for sometime now.

Yeah, I've never been more anxious to see the production version of a concept. So much could go right, but so much more could go horribly, horribly wrong

Pros:
Weigh reduction
Visibility
Cool factor
Cons:
Cost
Strength
Manufacturing.

I'm going to guess it's actually not lighter. Certainly not enough to outweigh the manufacturing cost
